Healthy habits mean a lot to me because they have changed my life. Want to know how to keep the best morning routine for success? I would like to share with you how I changed up my mornings and have found great success in many areas such as improved sleep, alleviating pain and inflammation, mind clarity, weight loss, energy boost and so much more.

Yes, it was a color run! LOL I am covered in chalk dust but couldn’t be happier. This photo was taken after I ran a 5k last month. I still can’t wrap my head around it. If you asked me a year ago if I would ever even consider running a 5k, I may have told you that you were crazy to even think such a thing. Without getting in to too much detail, I never felt good. Like, ever! About a year ago I made some big changes in my daily habits and routine that had such an amazing effect on my life. I want to share them with the world.
How to create the best morning routine for success
- organic coffee (mold and pesticide free)
- apple cider vinegar with the “mother”
- filtered water
- organic lemons
- cayenne pepper
- a good quality MCT oil
- minerals, such as BEAM micro boost
- bone broth, preferably homemade
1. Water for the best morning routine success
Water is vital! On average, our bodies are made up of about 60% water. That’s a lot. However, most of our drinking water is contaminated. Therefore, many of us don’t enjoy the taste. Filtering the water will eliminate much, if not most, of the odor and taste. Adding something as simple as a fresh squeezed lemon can make it so much more enjoyable to drink.
2. Lemon
Adding fresh organic lemon is the perfect way to rehydrate yourself first thing in the morning. Lemon also has anti-aging benefits and is a great source of potassium. It also helps boost mood. It can help fight indigestion, heartburn and bloating. Therefore, it sounds good to me!
3. Cayenne
Cayenne pepper may seem like a strange thing to add to your morning drink. Hey, it helps reduce appetite and if that were the only benefit alone, I would probably still choose to add it. There are antioxidants in it which can help fight cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, coughs, colds and inflammation, protecting the nervous system as well.
4. How to include coffee in your morning routine
If your morning routine includes coffee, please consider drinking organic coffee to create the best morning routine for success. Coffee beans are loaded with pesticides, fertilizers, and grossest of all MOLD. Therefore, choose organic and if at all possible. Drink it black without the addition of heavy creams and sugars. If black is not an option, try adding an organic cream or half and half. Real maple syrup and coconut sugar are better options for sweeteners than syrups, sugar-free syrups or conventional processed sugar. Coffee is full of polyphenols and antioxidants. You get 7 times the amount if you consume an Unfiltered coffee such as one made in a French press.
5. MCT oil
I add MCT oil to my morning coffee. It helps me feel fuller, longer! Yes, please! It also helps increase energy levels, weight loss, inflammation, boosts the immune system, and promotes mental clarity. I can use more of that! It can also lower blood sugar and insulin levels. I have lost 35 pounds using MCT oil in my daily coffee.
6. Apple Cider Vinegar
I love adding apple cider vinegar to my morning ritual in a glass of water. Purchase ACV that is not pasteurized. Use vinegar with the “mother”, meaning the mother is the source of probiotics in the vinegar. ACV is packed with probiotics. Additionally, pasteurized vinegar will not have the probiotics in it that one including the “mother” has. It has great anti-microbial and antibacterial properties as well as aids in detoxification. Just add what you can handle to start. Start with 1 teaspoon and add your way up to a full tablespoon. Nonetheless, the benefits are worth it.
7. Minerals
Adding a high-quality shot of minerals is essential in creating the best morning routine for success. The BEAM brand provides cellular support by containing naturally occurring micronutrients.
